| Physical Description: | Age ... well, let's just say old enough to know better but still too young to care. :) 5' 6", and I'll steal ... borrow Becky's phrasing of "well endowed and big boned". Long blond hair that's normally worn in a single braid and some uneven bangs covering my forehead. I have blue eyes and I wear wire-rimmed glasses. Normal clothes are blue jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt (cat-themed or writing-related), with a plain long-sleeved t-shirt underneath if the weather's cold enough. You will almost never see me in a skirt or dress and heels. For the purposes of this War, my nightwear will consist of a Chicago Bears football jersey long enough to be a nightshirt, bearing the number 34. |
| Resources: | A laptop with the latest & greatest office-type programs (word processor, spreadsheets, database, etc.) and accounting software, as well as various games. A humungous stash of yarn and fabric with accompanying notions and accessories, with several projects in various stages of incompletion. My trusty Kenmore sewing machine (and I will so be jealous of your machines, Becky :) ). |
| Strengths: | Pretty good computer and research skills. Good clothing construction skills, but not so much on design. Still learning to knit socks (how's that for a coincidence?). High tolerance level for BS, which comes in handy when dealing with management and bureaucracy. |
| Weaknesses: | Dove dark chocolate and an addiction to Facebook games like Cafe World, Farmville & Frontierville. Should not be allowed in book stores, office supply stores or fabric/craft stores with money. |
| Quirks/Other: | Always up for a good argument -- I'll argue with anyone if I think they're wrong. If I also happen to be right, happy bonus but not required. Hate to see any animals mistreated, but a special fondness for cats. Always accompanied in War by the Cousinly kitties: Willow, a petite grey girl; Duncan, a big black boy; and Zorro, my goofy orange boy. Permanently in residence at CERK are the four vamp-kitties: Gandalf and Merlin (my first two cats) as well as Tirian and Toshi (inherited from the Dark Knighties in previous Wars). Since it's been mentioned by a couple of others, I can also ride a horse if necessary. I took jumping lessons back in high school but have not been on a horse since. |
