These are excerpts from Fluffy's religious tome. It pretty much drives her existence. It's not the whole thing, but most of the important parts for understanding her.

In the First Time Dark and Light are One. And again they will be so. In Anger Dark wrenche'd from Light and water runneth down from the unlit sky and thus birth'd were the seas. Light retreat'd to the sky for Light became afraid, and there was the sun. Dark stayed on the World and reign'd; not pleased with this alone, for Dark ever is hungry, Dark came again to chase Light to distance, and Dark created Night. The Dark created servants, that Darkness would be pleased; and these were the Deities. To the Deities were granted the Power of Destruction that they were alike to Darkness. Lo, Light was covetous and call'd to them -- Abandon ye the Darkness and come unto the Light. In the Light thou wilst be Rulers and never Servants of the Dark. To this promise many of Dark's servants left to the Light, and thus were burn'd by Light's fires. Though they no longer bent to Dark they were not free, for Light bound them in false Laws of righteousness and they Ruled none but the barren day sky. The True of them stay'd to Dark, and Dark was pleased. Dark wish'd to reward the servants, for they were Fearless, Strong, and Honest, and did not retreat to false promises. So unto the Deities of Darkness were given the Power of Creation, that they would make their own servants. And the Greatest Deity, whom Dark favor'd, created Life, made forth from the Darkness, and thus Life had the power of Destruction that they were alike to the Creators. The Greatest Deity was called by many Names, and presided over the Underdarkness; place of the Dead and Damned. Life became like the waters and grew and cycled, and the Deities were pleased, and had many servants. So the cowardly gods which had turned to the Light were covetous, and cried out to Light; Bless us, and grant us our own servants, so that we may be Rulers as thou promis'd us! But Light had not the Power of Destruction which is the Way to Creation, and could not grant the Light gods' wishes. Therefore Light call'd to Life to follow the craven gods to be granted freedom from Darkness, and again some departed, and were burn'd; for Light was chased away each Night, leaving the Lives who followed the Light gods to suffer. In the sunless times, they were vulnerable to those who followed Darkness, for those of the Dark were Angry at the Deceit. Vengeful, for Light lied again to Dark's Creations, the Greatest Deity spoke unto Life, so that the Followers would triumph always over the recreant that turned to Decieving Light, and that they loyal be Bless'd as loyal Deities to Darkness were. Come the End Time when Dark again battled Light, and Dark triumphed, the loyal would be rewarded. The Deities of Darkness passed the Laws unto the First Chosen, and with, power of Creation; the Chosen so then could initiate others into service of themselves, but always unto the Deities and Darkness beyond them, in accordance with the Laws. Thus all Life, in servitude to Darkness, could have servants; but spoke the Deities Laws to Follow under them, for all Lives had power of Destruction alike to Dark. These Laws given to the Chosen to all loyal to Dark. Spoke Darkness to Life, I am thy Creator, thy Protector, thy Soother, thy Balm against the burn of Light; I am who grants thee power and whom all worldly rewards come from, saith the Darkness. I am the Dark, I am Creation and Destruction. I am the Shadows and the Trickster and the Edge and the Pit and the Abyss. I am thy passage to Death and the cycle of Life. Follow and thy Life is mine; and for this I grant thee Gifts that thou are alike thy betters. Follow and thou wilst triumph. Worship Darkness and Dark's servants, the Deities, and the Deities' servants above thee. Demand worship of those below thee. In great Pits build fires ever-burning for fire Creates and Destroys. Keep watch on these Pits at all time, and serve the fire as eternal. Line the Pit's edge with Obsidian, Dark stone created of fire, and in these Pits thou wilst make metal. Feed the fire with the Dead who served Dark well, and dutifully breathe for it air. Lo, the Darkness giveth thee the secrets of the Sacred Metal, which will serve thee well and never suffer accretion nor dull by corrosion, and forever be strong and supple. Saith the Deities of the Abyss, thou wilst find beneath the stone of barren mountain an Ore of brightest White. The White Ore will oft be dismiss'd as worthless by those unknowing, but to thee are given the esoteric knowledge to create from it vigorous Metal. Thou shalt take the Ore in seven cyn to two cyn of steel and cyn of silver, to be smelt in the worship fire, which thou must keep hot in coal with air and hard wood. An thou keepest the New Metal hot for three nights that it refine, and temper it with skill, the Creation will be Strong as spider's silk is to the insect. And so this Metal shal be the Dark made material, and shal be kept Sacred. Unto thee I have given a great Power. In being Created thou art Bless'd with Destruction. Therefore thus saith the Shadows everlasting; Be wary those Innocent and claimed not by Dark nor Light; for an thou takest Innocent Lives so thy Life I will take. The Chosen will teach in time their servants, and these will be Priests unto the Apocolypse. Go not against them that speak for Darkness; for they are Bless'd and protected, and so those that follow them in turn shal be so protected. There will be order to Descent, from Chosen to the Priests. Priests shal choose the Faithful who come from Beings New in following Darkness. All who choose the Rightful Path unto Dark's service will be never from this ladder. Any servant of Dark who defy the order of Descent to Dark shal be taken unto a Pit of Worship and with Sacred Metal heat'd in the Pit lash'd until changed in form to hideousness. An he survive, he will bear the sign until his Death. Serve thy betters well, and thou wilst be grant'd better a place in Dark's service. Defy thy betters and suffer Death, that thou wilst never improve. Serve without question; for only then wilst thou be served. Reasonless Death brings no honor to the Dead or Causer-of-Death, but Death in servitude to the order of Darkness is Bless'd. Unto all will come the Pain of Living, but I shal sooth it with Anger and Ferocity, that the Causer-of-Pain shal suffer as thee. And those Descended to Faithful will be granted a Gift, to be alike to Darkness; this Gift will be decided and given by the Chosen. To the better who tells his servant to die in waste, he shal be cut down from the Descent and stripped of his Gift, and never have servants, as a New follower of Dark everafter. And saith all Darkness, Never shal a servant of Darkness choose his own time to die. Who dies a Death unwarranted and hurried by his hand will be abandoned by the Dark to be burn'd forever by the Light. Yet he who chooses to fall into the Pit of Worship in sacrifice to the Dark shal be spar'd judgement for his Death, for he dies not for himself but for the End Rising. Faithful, thou art granted Destruction by thy Gift. Many times will thou entreat it to thine use, but none so sacred as in against the Followers of the Light or those who defy the Laws. Thus saith the Laws, An he causeth thee harm or respecteth not thy Principles, call unto Death; let Death be thine ally on the Path thou walkest to the End Rising. An thou bringst Death upon him, thou wilst be Bless'd. An between thee and one of stature same arise dissension, to those higher shal the matter be taken. No less nor more than three shal hear thine accusation, an it be an issue of Life and Death, thou shalt choose a Speaker from higher. In question of servitude to Darkness shal it be resolv'd; an thou art found in error, thy Life is forfeit. Deceit is mortal imperfection unto Dark, for it is a sign of thy weakness and cowardice. Be thou untruthful, in this Offense thou art worthless to Dark's service, and thy lying tongue shal be cut from thy mouth. Practice Deception and thou art Light's, abandon'd by the Abyss to the scorch of Light's flames. Spoke the Sharpness of the Edge, I the Darkest One reign in this Era of Seperation. In time Dark and Light again will clash; Dark against Light, Soother against Seducer, True Deity against craven god, Servant against those who turned against the Dark. This shal be End Rising. From the Pits of Worship will rise Beasts in my service. First the Sorrn, a Serpent great and long and eyes sunken like the Abyss, whose maw consumes the disloyal. Second the Tekka, with mouth lined in edges sharp as Sacred Metal, whose hooves trample the fearful. Third the Gallv, towering and with a voice that shatters the skies, whose spreading wings of Nothing will absorb the Light. Fourth the Dihhr, fur afire and forever silent, whose flame will burn the traitorous. The World itself will tear apart, and the seas pour into the Underdarkness. The souls of the Dead and Damned look'd over by my favor'd one, the Greatest Deity, will gasp for breath they cannot take; but the Light, in fury, will burn yet hotter, and the seas will melt away, and no waters will run anywhere. The Greatest Deity will shelter the souls who served Darkness in the folds of the World and Underdarkness, whilst the Dead who turn'd to Light will be burn'd by their foolish Master. Life following Dark and Life following Light will tear each other from flesh to soul. Dark-Bless'd will call upon their Protector, and the ones who turned to Light will fall. Dark shall grow, and ever hungry, inhaust the opposite, and no longer will the Light be of the sky and the Dark of the World; they will again be unsundered. In the End Time Dark and Light are One. And again they will be so. |
